The official site calls NEO BERLIN 2087 a single-player action RPG and detective thriller set in a dark vision of Berlin's future. Steam's short pitch is tighter: uncover the truth as Nolan, a troubled detective chasing a conspiracy that shakes Neo Berlin, a cyberpunk city split in two by technology, wealth, and class. PlayStation's concept page adds the same split in plainer geography. The rich rule inside new city walls. The poor fight in slums and in a deadly wasteland outside those walls.
Steam genres are Action, Adventure, Indie, and RPG. Categories are single-player, Steam Achievements, full controller support, DualSense support, and Family Sharing. Nothing in the first-party pages describes co-op, PvP, a battle pass, or a gacha shop. Treat it as a premium story game until a store page says otherwise.

Stay in the shadows, use advanced technology and special abilities, or fight with firearms and close combat. Steam repeats those verbs with more texture. You can relive a victim's last moments, watch their past play out, and pull clues from behavior. Stealth uses silent weapons. Combat is close-quarters work against blades and bullets. You pick weapons and customize a skill set. Dialogue and actions change nearby characters and the story.
That is the entire published mechanical list. There is no official skill tree image, no damage table, no map of districts with names you can slug. A beginner should learn the verbs, not invent a meta. If you like Deus Ex-style stealth-or-loud detective games, the studio is pointing at that neighborhood.
