NEO BERLIN 2087

NEO BERLIN 2087 gameplay

NEO BERLIN 2087 publishes a short systems list: camera, investigation, stealth, combat, loadout, and conversation. There is no official stat sheet. This page is a field manual for those verbs, with stills that show how the marketing presents them.

First person and third person

Elysium and Steam both say you can move between first- and third-person views. Steam calls the switch seamless and ties it to tactics: use the camera that keeps you unseen or the one that helps you win a close fight. PlayStation describes the same blend as a mix of shooter, stealth, investigation, and role-playing mechanics. The stills are mostly over-the-shoulder or cinematic. One rooftop shot puts Nolan in a long coat beside a car. Another puts an armored officer next to a POLIZEI vehicle. Neither shot prints a HUD overlay you can treat as final UI.

Because the studio has not shipped a settings video, do not claim a specific FOV slider, a cover-snap button, or a lock-on. The published fact is the dual camera. The rest is not on the store pages.

Memory reconstruction

Steam's unique-ability paragraph is specific. Relive the last moments of victims. Step into their shoes. Watch their past unfold. Use the ability to understand human behavior, reconstruct memories, and find clues. Navigate social and political landscapes to learn what happened. Elysium shortens that to 'reconstruct memories' beside crime-scene investigation.

The mansion still with red-and-white tape on a carpet is the closest official image to a scene under examination. It is a room, not a UI mockup. There is no official name for a gadget, no published duration, and no list of how many memories a case contains. Describe the system as a detective tool that replays a death, then stop.

Stealth, guns, and close combat

Steam splits the approach. As a seasoned detective, stealth comes naturally. Sneak, stay out of sight, and remove threats with silent weapons. If you are seen, or if you choose a loud path, you fight at close range through blades and bullets. Elysium's site uses the same fork: shadows and special abilities, or firearms and close combat. Official combat stills show rifles, armored suits, and wet metal platforms. They do not show a skill tree.

Loadout language is one sentence long. Take your pick from a wide range of weaponry and customize your skill set to fit a playstyle. No weapon names are first-party. Do not invent a pistol called the Wallbreaker. When a trailer or store page prints a name on a gun, this section can add a row.

Choices sit on top of both paths. Steam says you can steer conversations or let actions speak. Behavior changes nearby characters and how the story unfolds. That is a branching-promise, not a published flowchart. The useful beginner takeaway is simple: the studio wants stealth, shooting, talking, and memory work in one case, not four separate games.
