Steam movie 257398496 is named NEO BERLIN 2087 - Gamescom 2026 Release Date Announcement. IGN uploaded a 1:35 cut on 13 August 2026 as Official Gamescom 2026 Release Announcement Trailer. PlayStation's channel posted a matching reel. Official X quoted the line 'This city doesn't hide the truth.' and confirmed the four storefronts the same day.
The announcement does not print a month. It supports the 2028 Steam year. Use the IGN or PlayStation upload on this page because those IDs are stable public players. The Steam DASH/HLS files are store-page only.
Gamescom 2025 gameplay reel
IGN dated the Official Gamescom 2025 Gameplay Trailer to 14 August 2025. GameTrailers hosted a 2:31 upload. Third-party blurbs for that reel named extra characters. Those names are not on Elysium's site, Steam about text, or official X as of 15 August 2026, so they do not get slugs here. What the 2025 reel is good for is motion: wet streets, police lighting, gunfights, and cinematic faces that match the Steam still set.

How to read a still
A trailer frame is evidence of what the team chose to show, not a guarantee of a final mechanic. The mansion tape still supports investigation. The POLIZEI car still supports a police presence and German signage. The wall still supports the class split. The rooftop coat still supports Nolan as a detective who can walk both luxury and industrial spaces. That is the correct use of a pre-release reel.
